Vacation
“We need to go on vacation!”
“What are you talking about old man?” Oolong replied. “We’re living on permanent vacation. There’re hot chicks –”
“There is one hot chick and she tries to kill us.”
“The key word is tries. If she really wanted us dead, we’d be dead. Anyway, we’re right next to a beach, beautiful weather and most importantly we can be alone with the Collection. So tell me, why do you want to go on vacation?”
“Because whenever things become really relaxed around here, something always comes along to threaten the world and then we spend time worrying about everyone and the fate of the planet while they leave us behind,” Master Roshi ranted. “I want to see some action!”
“Don’t you mean get some action?”
“Well that’s on the agenda, naturally.” The two perverts cackled conspiratorially.
“So you may have a point Master. What kind of place did you have in mind?”
“I was thinking about snow.”
“Snow!” Oolong sat up in shock.
“Yes. Skiing and all that.” Master Roshi started to drool. “And there are all those beautiful young female ski instructors –”
“Ah!” Oolong interrupted. “I can see it now.” There was a short pause. “Where’re we going to find snow?”
“There is always snow somewhere. Usually in the mountains.” Master Roshi waved his hand dismissively. “The important question is how we are going to get there.”
“Master Roshi!” Krillin called from within the house. “Could you please mind Marron for a while? Eighteen and I have to go into the city. And no –”
Krillin stuck his head out of the door but neither Master Roshi nor the pig were anywhere in sight.

Vaguely off in the distance, a small amount of spray was visible.
“Swim faster Turtle!” Oolong said nervously. “We don’t want them to catch us!”
“That is another reason I forgot to mention,” Master Roshi added, “I am sick and tired of all the baby sitting!” He paused. “Now, back to where we left off. I wonder how we’re going to get up to the mountains?”
“You know, if you had never drifted down this path you could have used the Flying Nimbus to help.” Turtle said.
“Don’t you get involved in this. Besides I like the way I am and I wouldn’t give that up for anything. If it wasn’t for those magazines I never would have been introduced to all of these hotties!” Master Roshi indicted towards an empty patch on Turtle’s back.
“On no!” Oolong exclaimed. “We didn’t bring any of the Collection with us!”
“What!” Master Roshi looked to where he was pointing. He started scrabbling urgently. “I was sure I grabbed at least one!”
An argument began that was to last most of the night but despite that, what was important was the fact they were well into the start of their vacation. But things never do quite turn out the way you plan, do they?

A discussion about going for a vacation by two of the more minor characters of DBZ. Long drabble. I'm not entirely sure when it would take place in the timeline.

That was a fun read! There were some rather amusing lines in there but I think my favourite was when Turtle told Roshi he could have used the flying nimbus if only he hadn't "drifted down this path". Hehe! Somehow, I don't think he has any regrets, though.
