Death and the holiday season

Why do bad things always happen at this time of year? The whole gammut from the down right annoying such as the TV failing and the spa leaking... to road accidents and car fatalities.
I discovered on Saturday morning that a friend of mine died in a head on collision. He was about 25. His girlfriend and the other driver suffered serious injuries. I believe he died on impact. Certainly at the scene. The details are still filtering through.
It wasn't his fault. A ute clipped a Toyota Echo while travelling at high speed, trying to overtake. This caused it to lose control and fishtail. It eventually ended up crossing the dividing line and my friend's little Ford Focus was the car to end up in it's way.
He was quite far from where he lived. I don't know why, he didn't really like to leave the area, not from fear of driving, but just because he didn't like to drive far.
Please everyone, whatever you are doing this holiday season can't be that important. Please don't speed. Please be careful.

Back to the grind

Hm, suppose I should finally update this thing.
1. Completed work experience, but still working on the report.
2. Back at uni and glad to be back with the stress I know. Timetable is not the best.
3. Went camping over the weekend. It was fun. I got to do some cool stuff.
Part 2
The future connection:
Not entirely sure how much of a rant this is, but it's kind of funny.
I seem to have a connection to the future.
Seriously. I have gotten 2 emails so far from dates that have not yet passed. One is from the 10/05/08 (Aussie date format) and is behaving like it. i.e. new emails are coming in before it.
The other I received today that is supposed to have only come in at 1am tomorrow.
Um. Yeah.
Anyone have a clue!?

Work Experience

Well, exams are over. The results are slowly trickling in. I'm so far not really disappointed.
I've also just come back from a week long holiday, and I'm going to be heading straight into my work experience this Monday.
However, I'm going to catch up on all the deviations I have. Since there are quite a few I hope no one is offended if I don't comment on everything.
And my trade with rachaelm5 has not been forgotten, though she probably thinks it has with the amount of time it has been since I accepted it.
In the meantime, trades are closed.

Exams

Well, in the next two weeks I have my exams.
After that I intend to get a serious move on on some drawings, particularly the trade with rachaelm5 I have been working on it on and off though.
And I'll work my way through the 300 deviation submissions that have piled up then too.
But until then, I'm basically dead.
Chemistry is going to be fun -_-
